Obligatory Monday Afternoon Post-Concert Post - 140614 @ Club FF
Show started later than usual, and as such, I was disappointed about not seeing Telefly, as they are definitely one of my favorite bands right now. Next show....
First time seeing these guys and they didn't disappoint. Really enjoyed their music... has some obvious Radiohead/Brit Rock influence... There is no doubt SeungMin is completely IN to what is happening, and that always makes me enjoy a performance more.
First time seeing these guys as well and they were really fun. I like seeing all sorts of interesting instruments/multiple roles, so seeing the bass player as backup keys and vocalist and guitarist with extra percussion was cool. Bonus points for Littlefish getting up in my face/camera.
I was happy to see these guys again. Their sound is really TIGHT. And as I mentioned before, somewhat like if MCR met Schoolyard Heroes, but in Korea. As also previously mentioned, love seeing musicians that are lost in their music. This particular [final] video of Reflex... I see that with the singer and it makes me very, very happy.
Oh.... Life and Time...Well... Life and Time is the sideband of SunBin from The Koxx, who I love, and have yet to see live. *fingers crossed* ...anyhow... not having any prior knowledge of this band, what I can say is, they are really good musicians... with a tight sound... and I just love watching SunBin play bass. He jumps around like Yukke, from Mucc, who is probably my favorite bass player to see live of all-time. Both bass player and guitarist sometimes move around like music is a full-contact sport. That is rad. Somehow I was reminded of a cross between Mucc and Primus. Could be my focus on SunBin though.
